IDOL is proud to announce its partnership with Dom Recs, a brand new independent label, dedicated to empowering audiovisual creatives. And they strike hard with their first releases: Twin Shadow and Theo Croker.

The industry continues to evolve, and with it, new voices are emerging to challenge conventions and bring fresh perspectives. Enter Dom Recs, the newly launched multi-genre record label co-founded by industry veterans Daniel Petruzzi and Roxy Summers (aka Roxy Cottontail). Backed by decades of experience across marketing, A&R, artist management, and content production, Dom Recs is set to become a powerhouse for indie, alternative, electronic, and world music.

Their first-ever release is nothing less than Twin Shadow’s highly anticipated album Georgie, which debuted with great fanfare at the latest SXSW edition. As part of the launch, Twin Shadow also took the stage for a special performance at Central Presbyterian Church.

To mark its official arrival, Dom Recs hosted a SXSW event on the eve of the release featuring DJ sets from Twin Shadow, Jasmine Solano, Roxy Cottontail, and GNDHI, as well as a live performance by DAP The Contract.

Following this high-profile debut, Dom Recs released GRAMMY-nominated trumpeter Theo Croker’s Dream Manifest today, June 13, 2025. The album features collaborations with Estelle, Kassa Overall, D’LEAU, Gary Bartz, Tyreek McDole, Malaya, and Natureboy Flacko, further enriching its dynamic and genre-blending sound. With these first strategic signings, Dom Recs signals its commitment to high-caliber talent and creatively ambitious projects

A Fresh Start with Major Ambitions

While Dom Recs is a new name, its leadership is far from inexperienced. Daniel Petruzzi has played a key role in the industry for over 25 years, holding leadership roles including President at Okayplayer. In addition to his extensive experience, he runs his label services agency, Tonal Agency, further showcasing his deep understanding of digital strategy, branding, artist development, and distribution.

On the creative and experiential side, co-founder Roxy “Cottontail” Summers brings an eclectic and dynamic approach to label operations. A DJ, promoter, artist, designer, and music marketer, Roxy has built a global industry network within NYC nightlife and helped shape independent music scenes across New York, Miami, Europe, Tokyo, and beyond. Her vast history in event production, artist branding, and music promotion makes her an invaluable driving force behind Dom Recs.

A Vision for the Future

With a foundation in worldwide distribution, in-house marketing, rights management, merchandising, and creative development, Dom Recs aims to empower audiovisual creatives to shape the future of art. The label is more than just a traditional record company—it’s a media & artist management company committed to fostering artistic expression while supporting artists with the tools they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.

“We aim to possess the audacity of greatness while putting a premium on style.” Roxy Summers

The team behind Dom Recs sees music as more than just sound—it’s an experience, an influence, and a movement. Having already cultivated a promising roster, the label is actively working on new signings that will further cement its position as highly curated and innovation-driven space. The label’s commitment to genre-blending sounds, strategic artist development, and cutting-edge music marketing sets the stage for an exciting journey ahead.
