IDOL out in force at MaMA festival 2023
Conversation with Pascal Bittard
On Thursday, October 12, Pascal Bittard will be invited to the MaMA Debate at the Elysée Montmartre, Paris. Journalist Ouafae Mameche Belabbes will interview IDOL’s founder about his journey, from pioneering digital distribution to being named one of Billboard’s 100 international power players of 2023.
Pascal Bittard will recount how he gradually opened offices in the UK, Germany, the USA and South Africa, and over the years built up a solid catalog of labels and artists that the teams are proud to defend. Pascal Bittard will also take the opportunity to express his point of view on various subjects such as the status of artist-entrepreneur, fake streams and the remuneration of streaming.
