The Prix Joséphine des Artistes returns for its third edition. After November Ultra's Bedroom Walls in 2022 and Tuerie's Papillon Monarque in 2023, which French production will win this year's prize?

The Prix Joséphine des Artistes, a prize awarded by artists to artists, rewards the most daring musical works.

Drawing their inspiration from the Mercury Prize, Frédéric Junqua and Christophe Palatre wanted to highlight the diversity of French production and encourage the discovery of new musical horizons. Read the interview with the prize founders.

The selection committee, made up of journalists, has studied the 310 applications, and chosen 40 based on the project’s quality and artistic daring. IDOL is proud to announce these 8 artists who have made the selection, and whom we support on a daily basis.

On September 26th, the winner will be announced at a concert broadcast on FIP radio from Studio 104 at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, with live performances by the 10 artists.
