In spite of the measures to restrict live performances and the numerous concerts and festivals cancellations, La Femme managed to meet some of its public via the stage. For 2022, the group is preparing a massive international tour.

La Femme has always been a live band. Under the spotlight, they reveal their punk spirit: the band is a real stage phenomenon. So it’s no surprise that since 2021, venues have been fighting over their show.

The band was indeed the headliner of the first post-covid Parisian festival: their neo-punk track “Foutre le Bordel” was a carnal necessity for this reunion with the public in theaters. That’s just one of the reasons why Les inRockuptibles chose La Femme for their evening at La Cigale last June. The group then went on to Europavox and the Route du Rock for the summer festival circuit, and in the autumn, went to shake up the Palais Galliera for the opening of the Vogue exhibition. The band then flew to Mexico for a tour – where they managed to screen their first full-length film, Paradigmes, in the capital city’s cinema.

Since the end of 2020, La Femme used twice as much imagination to transcribe their album Paradigmes to a live performance. That’s why La Femme has also been highly solicited for video sessions. Arte Concert chose them for not one but two recordings: one at Ground Control and one for a virtual release party at Balajo.

In February, La Femme launches its 2022 tour with a big start in Le Mans on the 25th. The European tour will end on May 21 with a Zenith in Paris. The band will then leave for their North American leg, but will come back to France for the summer with Rock en Scène and the Main Square.
