IDOL 2025 CNM international certifications
As every year, the Centre National de la Musique (CNM), in partnership with the SNEP, has certified physical and digital sales outside of France. In 2025, 440 artists were certified, for a total of 815 certifications, including 758 singles and 57 albums, confirming France’s position as the world’s 6th largest music exporter.
In 2025, 136 new releases (122 singles and 14 albums) were certified for export, representing 17% of all certifications for the year, with a 70% increase compared to 2024. However, the back catalogue remains dominant: 636 singles and 43 albums released before January 2023 account for 80% of the certified titles.
The results, however, are marked by significant imbalances in representation. Female artists remain a minority among the certified projects: only 26% of the titles are associated with a voice identified as female and 11% with mixed groups, levels close to those observed last year.
Contrary to what one might imagine, singing in French is not a barrier to export: French-language titles largely dominate, as they represent 58% of certifications, compared to 33% for non-French-language tracks and 9% for instrumentals.

The IDOL artists
L’Impératrice / microqlima
Since their first album, which we supported internationally, L’Impératrice has built a solid and lasting career path. This year, the album Tako Tsubo is certified Platinum, while the singles ‘Peur des filles‘ and ‘Voodoo‘ each achieve Platinum certification.
Guts / Heavenly Sweetness
Guts, a French beatmaker and producer known for his fusion of hip-hop, funk, and tropical grooves, continues to make his mark on the independent scene. His album Paradise for All has just been certified Gold.
Comptines d’afrique / ARB Music
The channel Comptines d’Afrique makes a remarkable entry into the export certifications. The single ‘Amina (Ronde)‘ is now certified two times Diamond, ‘Coco coco laye laye‘ achieves a Diamond certification, ‘Bouboukalakala a dit que‘ a Platinum certification, while ‘Amawole Amawole (C’est moi)‘ and ‘Rose‘ each obtain a Gold certification.
Else / L’ordre Music (Divine)
Since its release in 2016, the track ‘Paris‘ by the duo Else has become a true international phenomenon. This year, it reaches an impressive 16x Diamond certification, proving the incredible longevity of the track.
Assassin’s Creed 2 / Ubisoft Music
Composed by Jesper Kyd for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 2, the theme ‘Ezio’s Family’ has become one of the saga’s most iconic pieces. It now reaches a milestone with a 9x Diamond single certification.

Stuck in the Sound / Upton Park
Stuck in the Sound continues its international journey with ‘Let’s Go’, released in 2012, which loses none of its strength: the track follows an exceptional trajectory and has just achieved a triple Diamond certification.
Matvei / Kitsuné
Matveï, a young French producer who favors house music infused with Latin sounds, is gradually establishing himself on the international scene. His single ‘GET LOST’, released in 2020, has just been certified Diamond.
Dublon / Delicieuse Musique
Dublon, a Norwegian producer noted for his jazzy house, is asserting himself as one of the new faces of the independent electronic scene alongside singer Deza. Together, they sign the single ‘Evolution’, a soulful and unifying track that has just been certified Gold Single.
Uppermost / Uppwind Records
Uppermost, an independent producer based in Paris and an avowed heir to French Touch, has established himself with his melodic electronic music. His emblematic track ‘Beautiful Light’, released on the compilation Origins (2011–2016), has just been certified Gold.
Kim / Frochot Music
Kim, an independent artist on the rise, is making her mark with a modern pop signature and sensitive writing that resonates with an ever-wider audience. Her single ‘Confidence’ has just been certified Gold Single.
