International Women’s Day 2022 (in music)

As every year, IDOL wishes to highlight the female artists of its catalog. Listen to our playlist composed of UNIIQU3, Hania Rani, Yndi, Sabrina Bellaouel...

March 8th was designated in 1977 by the United Nations as International Women’s Day. A day to preserve women’s rights and to improve gender equality but also celebrate women’s achievements. This year, the theme chosen is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.

We at IDOL’s curated a playlist to highlight the work of these artists, in order to put them back at the heart of the creation. We are proud to represent fierce, inspiring, visionary artists. Women that have been changing the music industry by pushing boundaries and that will keep on doing just that for years to come. In honor of International Women’s Day, we’re spotlighting their best & most empowering tracks.

Featured on the cover,UNiiQU3, who was chosen last November by Spotify US as Equal artist of the month.
